We are hiring for:

Head of Shipping Department (100%)

What you'll be doing:

• Leading a team of 8 (up to 30 during peak season) in handling all customer and business shipping orders diligently and promptly
• Monitoring and improving departmental KPIs, working on efficient workflows with the team
• Leading internal projects and acting as a key user of SAP in cross-functional projects
• Shared responsibility for budget planning and control with the Logistics & Services management
• Supporting team members in daily operations, promoting team cohesion
• Handling international customer order distribution in collaboration with the Order Processing department
• Regular reporting to the Logistics & Services management

What we are looking for:

• Completed apprenticeship as a Logistics Specialist
• Additional qualifications in logistics (e.g., Logistics Specialist, Process Specialist, Technical Business Specialist) are mandatory
• Several years of experience in the logistics industry are required
• Extensive leadership experience and passion for building strong team structures
• Precise, quality-conscious, and independent work ethic with the ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Affinity for new tools and a keen interest in organizational, planning, and administrative tasks
• Open, reliable, and communicative personality who embodies the service-oriented mindset daily as a leader
• Mobility and flexibility
• Proficient in MS Office and good SAP skills
• Fluent in written and spoken German
