The Security and Anti-Fraud (SAF) team is dedicated to creating and maintaining a secure environment, safeguarding our employees and millions of users. We monitor for threats and fraud signals, taking proactive measures to protect our users' data.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll collaborate with various teams to enhance marketplace security. Your role involves designing security initiatives, leading teams, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Role Overview
- Lead projects to ensure customer and data safety
- Drive strategic initiatives involving cross-functional teams
- Research trends, develop risk mitigation strategies, and measure security controls' effectiveness
- Stay informed about industry advancements to anticipate potential threats
- Engage in community outreach activities and technical presentations
- Document and present security findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- University degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field
- Expertise in fraud detection, cloud security, and web development
- Experience in security analysis, threat modeling, and security architecture
- Proficiency in coding languages like Java, Go, NodeJS, or TypeScript
- Leadership skills in developing security features and collaborating across teams
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
