About the position

Responsibilities

  • Support the validation of therapeutic targets through a wide array of experimental procedures
  • Execute experiments, perform analysis and write protocols and reports
  • Participate in daily laboratory management
  • Communicate results to the team and the team lead on weekly basis.
  • Maintain an updated notebook of performed studies

Requirements:

  • CFC/BSc/MSc degree in Biology/Molecular Biology /Cell Biology (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an academic or industry laboratory setting.
  • Having strong wetlab experience is a must. Extensive handson experience in designing, performing, and analysing a wide array of molecular and cellular biology assays including mammalian cell culture, primary cell isolation from rodents/human tissues, RNA isolation from cultured cells and tissues, qRTPCR, NGS library preparation (preferred), transfection and transduction techniques (e.g. siRNA, plasmid/virusbased). Experience in RNAcentric approaches such as RNA-IP is preferred. The position is 90% wet labbased with 10% experimental analysis and design.
  • Willingness to master new techniques is critical.
