The organization is innovating new go to market strategies, evaluating M&A opportunities, digitalizing consumer solutions and globalizing core support function activities.
ABOUT THE CORPORATE FP&A AND CONTROLLING DEPARTEMENT
The Corporate FP&A and Controlling department is the finance business partner for the Executive Management Board (EMB), the CFO and CEO.
It is the central information hub within the Straumann Finance organization and drives sustainable financial improvements and ensures global transparency of results at Group level by combining information from the sales regions, the manufacturing plants, the business units and other areas to form a coherent overall picture versus the Executive Management and the Board of Directors.
The department further develops cross company controlling topics (such as benchmarking or cross-regional business analysis) and is owner of global controlling processes such as budgeting and forecasting.
It increases profitability be driving cost saving, lean, innovation, pricing and customer profitability initiatives across different functions and regions in our matrix organization.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are a forward-looking Senior FP&A Manager who enables growth in the wider organization by proactively supporting strategic investments and ensuring that forecasting & planning is well managed and runs seamlessly.
You drive efficiency gains and operational leverage, accelerate the implementation of a rolling forecasting, challenge COGS and evaluate operational investments for growth.
You have finance leadership experience as well as experience supporting global commercial / sales organizations and understand the complexities of manufacturing / production equally.
As a leader of change you show agility and resilience in driving transformation. By coordinating activities on a global level, you are comfortable acting in a matrix environment.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & CAPABILITIES
- Oversee the annual longterm planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with business units to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Run monthly results review meetings with regions and business units.
- Lead complex financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning to assess potential business outcomes and risks.
- Provide regular and adhoc financial reports, analysis, and presentations to executive leadership, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Continuously assess and improve financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes and platforms to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive global digital transformation initiatives within the FP&A organization.
- Implement best practices in financial modeling, data management, and forecasting techniques.
- Help to create effective performance metrics to drive accountability and ownership within the FP&A teams, regions and business units.
- Drive crossfunctional alignment on finance processes and planning activities.

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Minimum of 10+ years in FP&A or similar roles in a bigger corporate organization.
- Selfstarted with the ability to work independently to meet targets and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills. Used to lead and manage direct as well as indirect reporting lines.
- Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex crossenterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders even in stressful situations.
- Team player with an open & positive attitude, a strong customer focus and a result driven mentality.
