Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, determined, and committed individual to join our dynamic Finance Team in Liechtenstein. In this role, you will be part of the Controlling and Group Accounting teams at LGT Capital Partners, collaborating closely with other controllers and accountants in various locations such as Switzerland, Ireland, Hong Kong, and New York. Your conceptual, precise, and analytical approach will be crucial in tackling upcoming projects and challenges. You will be part of a motivated team operating in an environment characterized by flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes, allowing you to actively contribute.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Participation in the monthly closing process for consolidating the LGT Capital Partners Group and preparing the annual report;
  • Assistance in Risk Controlling tasks such as Capital Adequacy and other reporting activities;
  • Contribution to the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial processes, such as the Internal Control System (ICS);
  • Engagement with various stakeholders globally (Investment Controllers, Accountants, Controllers, and Auditors);
  • Collaboration on projects to enhance Finance tools and processes, fostering cooperation with our colleagues.

This Student Support position is designed for full-time engagement during academic breaks, offering a flexible workload of 2-3 days per week during the semester. It provides an exciting opportunity for students looking to pursue employment for a minimum of 1.5 years and preferably longer during their studies.

Requirements

  • Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's studies focusing on Finance, Banking, or a related field;
  • Strong interest in the finance sector and/or Asset Management;
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken;
  • Aptitude for numbers and solid IT skills, particularly in Excel;
  • High attention to detail coupled with organizational abilities;
  • Motivated team player with an approachable and open personality.
