In order to complete our team, the group of Professor Ping-Chih Ho is looking for a Laboratory Manager.

Your responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the group leader or a postdoc in the group, autonomous following of in vivo experiments of immunotherapy of cancer and planning of in vivo experiments testing novel compounds
  • Responsible to perform mouse line breedings for the project using both genotyping by PCR and phenotyping by flow cytometry. Help in ordering mice
  • Responsible to maintain cell lines in culture and to manage cryopreserved stocks and identity verification, mycoplasma contamination surveillance
  • Viral vector production for genetic validation of the genes targeted by the novel compounds.
  • Help in laboratory logistics (orders, stocks, reagents, kits, etc)

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent
  • Capable to perform animal experiments
  • FACS Training
  • Fluent English speaking ability
