We have offices in Zürich and Brussels. To support our current growth in Europe, we are looking for a Marketing Intern.

Tasks

Your Mission


In this role, you will be a part of the marketing team and will be responsible for owning Oper's brand-new podcast.

You will have the opportunity to experience setting up a new marketing project from the beginning to implementation.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders to popularize our podcast, grow our community and increase awareness about the brand.

What you will do


Marketing Intern is responsible for helping the Marketing Manager complete tasks such as organizing podcasts, preparing marketing proposals, updating the company website, etc.

Your main project will be to own our Oper FinTech podcast and work together with the Marketing Manager on organizing, developing, and expanding our presence in the podcast world.


These responsibilities include:

  • Working together with the Marketing Manager on the podcast's structure and branding
  • Conduct research to support Oper's podcast planning and implementation as well as report on industry trends
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to plan and execute against set communications strategies for future podcast topics based on industry trends
  • Inviting guests to the podcasts
  • Assist in organizing and implementing daytoday podcast activities including acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders as well as business unit leaders, brainstorming content, production timelines, and other initiatives
  • Leveraging the company's existing social media platforms and proposing other distribution and advertising channels for the podcast, adjusting outreach tactics as needed
  • Archive and organize content, track, analyze, and communicate podcast results
  • Supporting other adhoc activities if needed

Requirements:

What you will bring

  • An understanding of the basic foundations of podcast and marketing concepts
  • A keen interest and basic contentwriting skills
  • Interest in the fintech/mortgage field
  • Recent graduate or a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or business
  • Motivated, strategic thinker that possesses a positive attitude capable of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Bonus points
  • Experience with sound or video editing software
