Join our EWIS Team at Dufour Aerospace

We are looking for a highly motivated individual eager to contribute in a vibrant environment. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in bridging various disciplines within the company. The EWIS (electrical wiring interconnect system) is the cornerstone of our manufacturing process, demanding meticulous attention to detail.

On a day-to-day basis, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working on wiring diagrams to establish connections between systems
  • Providing manufacturing drawings for harness production
  • Creating 3D CAD representations for mechanical integration
  • Checking equipment on the hangar floor and supporting prototype manufacturing

By joining us, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, directly contributing to the progress of automated hybrid-electric flight.

Tasks
  • Supporting the design and interface requirements of EWIS
  • Designing and optimizing aerospace harnesses
  • Creating complex harnesses and assemblies in CAD
  • Deriving technical drawings for production and certification
  • Assisting in manufacturing, integration, and testing
  • Supporting system development from concept to production
  • Resolving design, manufacturing, and assembly issues
Requirements

Required:

  • Degree in electrical engineering or relevant work experience
  • Experience in electrical equipment integration, grounding, and bonding
  • Knowledge of manufacturing drawings, lacing, marking, and BOMs
  • Proficiency in CAD and basic understanding of PDM/PLM systems
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a target-oriented work approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA)

Advantageous:

  • Experience with Onshape (CAD)
  • Experience with Altium (schematics & scripting)
  • Background in the automotive or aerospace sector
