As a "

Head of Data Capabilities", you will be responsible for defining Nespresso's Enterprise-wide Data Capabilities Strategy. You will lead its global implementation & evolution to maximize Nespresso's global & local data capital and increase such value over time through a reliable and trusted enterprise data ecosystem designed around business priorities. You will contribute to Nespresso's digital transformation with direct responsibility for the disciplined delivery, democratization, and efficient activation of quality data.

A Day in the Life of a Head of Data Capabilities

  • Set the vision and strategy in alignment with Nespresso's Digital Transformation program for how the organization uses data capabilities as assets to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Lead the department in designing, communicating and delivering the Nespresso Global Data Capabilities roadmap built to protect and enhance the E2E data value chain.
  • Work closely with a wide variety of senior Business & IT stakeholders to bring alignment and be instrumental in building a datadriven roadmap for the wider organization.
  • Establish a clear data opportunity funnel, addressing data compliance/quality/consistency issues and mature specific opportunities to deliver improved E2E business data capabilities.
  • Integrate the requirements of architecture, platforms, data definitions, data governance etc. covering the lifecycle of data for value generation.
  • Lead the team in managing and delivering initiatives at enterprise level, cut across internal and external data, both structured and unstructured.
  • Establish the budget to manage the Data Capabilities department projects and mission

What will make you successful

  • 10+ years of business experience, ideally in data, analytics, architecture, technology and/or business management recently at the executive level. Broad business data & analytics experience internally and within the DTC industry is desired.
  • 5+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in leading crossfunctional teams and enterprisewide data or analytic programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
  • Strong ability to demystify Data concepts, as well as to contextualize and relate data programs and projects to business priorities.
  • Experience in integrating complex, crosscorporate processes, and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards.
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and effect change to achieve common goals. Dealing with C-Level executives and external regulatory bodies, boardlevel exposure is desirable.
  • Proven data and analytic literacy and ability to translate among the languages used by executives, business, IT and data experts.
  • Ability to create and execute a roadmap from legacy environments to modern architectures and platforms.
  • Outstanding analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Experience and participation in a digital transformation program as a strong plus.


 Fluent in English
  • French or Spanish is a plus.
