Global Portfolio Division (GPD) is a newly formed business within Takeda, brought together to position Takeda's future success by growing our global brands as well as supporting continued growth of our late-stage pipeline and driving best-in-class launches.

Made up of over 12,000 employees across 77 countries and based in three main regions:
Europe& Canada (EUCAN), Growth and Emerging Markets (GEM), and China.

Additionally, GPD includes 3 global organizations:
Vaccines BU, Global Portfolio &Launch Strategy and Global Medical as well as business partner functions.

EUCAN as part of GPD aims to be seen as a Talent Magnet across all markets and Talent Acquisition is a critical partner in ensuring we are successful.


ROLE OBJECTIVE


This position will also ensure that EUCAN talent acquisition processes, programs and policies are aligned to global programs and processes as defined.

This includes leveraging technology to create a better experience for all stakeholders involved with TA.

The position leads the relationship with the RPO vendor and ensures that end to end TA processes deliver on the needs of the EUCAN countries and functions.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with GPD and Global COEI teams to define and drive talent acquisition strategy for EUCAN
  • Ensure alignment with other functions around workforce planning, onboarding, talent development, and DEI
  • Provide strong and diverse internal and external talent pipelines for critical roles across EUCAN, through proactive succession pipeline building, and ongoing talent relationship management.
  • Leverage technology solutions that will impact efficiency and effectiveness of TA creating an experience for all stakeholders impacted giving Takeda a competitive advantage amidst the changing marketplace
  • Partner with HRBLs to ensure TA resources are deployed to best meet the needs of the business.
  • Leading the hiring of executive level roles
  • Coordinate regional resources for aligned support of global and/or multiregion hiring needs within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all required government regulations and reporting for TA activities for the region
  • Delivers operational excellence on key performance indicators such as Time to Hire, Cost per hire, Quality of hire. Provides insights on recruitment effectiveness by measuring and reporting key metrics to relevant stakeholders. Uses data and analytics to underpin the recruitment service delivery and to champion continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationship to ensure best fit TA delivery model in line with EUCAN's requirements, ensuring TA and TA RPO partners are set up for success and can flex and scale into Takeda's changing TA requirements.
  • Hires, manages, and develops a team of world class internal and RPO TA partners.
  • Represents EUCAN in the global COEI and participates in and contributes to globally agreed strategic initiatives in this area.
  • Provides thought leadership & market insights as a member of EUCAN HRLT and GPD Talent LT

SKILLS and LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES
years of leadership experience within talent acquisition

  • Experience from the pharma industry
  • Experience in leading a team, able to empower, inspire and motivate
  • Experience in RPO vendor management
  • Strong TA experience in multiple markets including EUCAN countries, able to deliver nuanced local TA solutions whist still adhering to a global standard.
  • Proven ability and experience in effectively interacting with and influencing senior level HR and business/function leaders to establish trust and credibility
  • Strong experience in working across functions and in different cultures in high level complex environment
  • Selfmotivated with high learning agility, deals well with change and shows high resilience in VUCA environment
  • Can operate in a highly matrixed environment with a high degree of cultural competence
  • Strategic perspective and high business acumen / focus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English, additional languages a plus.
