Production Expert at the Prefilled Syringe Line (m/f/d) - GMP / Microsoft Office / G-Suite / 5-shift mode / German

Project:
For a pharmaceutical giant based in Kaiseraugst, we are on the lookout for a Production Expert at the Prefilled Syringe Line (m/f/d).

Background:
Operating in Kaiseraugst (PKau), this modern production facility for parenteral products is the hub for manufacturing sterile medicines and supplies the market with biopharmaceutical drug products. Adhering to GMP regulations, the prefilled solutions are aseptically filled in an isolator at the prefilled syringe line and subsequently optically inspected in-line using an automated inspection machine. The line operates five days a week in a three-shift mode.

The ideal candidate has a background in production within the pharmaceutical industry in a GMP environment, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a production setting, and ideally, experience in manufacturing sterile medicines.

Responsibilities:

• Identification and billing of materials
• In-process controls, functional checks, and sampling
• Ensuring the availability of formatting parts, packaging materials, and consumables at the workplace (GMP, quality, safety)
• Processing production orders
• Operating production and inspection equipment and associated IT systems
• Loading production and inspection equipment with materials
• Unloading and cleaning production and inspection equipment
• Disposal of waste at production and inspection equipment
• Coordinating and conducting conversion activities in collaboration with the technical team
• Correct and timely documentation according to valid GMP regulations
• Reporting faulty conditions of equipment or materials used
• Supporting in fault rectification, maintenance, and reporting failures to support

Must Haves:

• Completed vocational training in the pharmaceutical field or training with additional relevant work experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in production environments in equipment operation, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in a GMP environment
• Good IT skills with common programs (Microsoft Office, G-Suite)
• Excellent German language skills in both written and verbal communication
• Good technical understanding in handling production equipment and enjoyment of practical work
• Readiness to work in a 5-shift mode (24/7)
• Independence as well as a high degree of teamwork
• Quality awareness, flexibility

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in the production of sterile medicines
