On behalf of our client, one of the world's leading researching biopharmaceutical companies, based in Lucerne area, Swisslinx is looking for a Chemist.

You will become a part of the team which consists of two researchers working in the field of small molecules.

This is initially a 12-months contract position (extension possible) with a great opportunity to bring your proven knowledge and expertise to an organization that offers a dynamic working environment.

• Performing crystallisation experiments on a scale from 5 ml to 1 L, as well as filtration and drying experiments
• Analysing solid and liquid samples using online, in situ techniques such as ATR-FTIR, FBRM, PVM and Raman spectroscopy as well as offline, exsitu techniques such as GC, XRPD, scanning electron microscopy, laser diffraction, DSC, TGA, dynamic water sorption and BET
• Documenting the corresponding results in English
• Organising and carrying out maintenance work on analytical equipment
• Disposal of chemicals in accordance with company instructions
• Ordering and inventory of laboratory chemicals
• Cooperation with engineers, technicians and external service providers

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or pharmaceutical technology; several years of professional experience may be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of crystallisation desirable
• Good MS Office user skills and a high affinity for complex IT systems
• High quality awareness and a sense for efficient working methods
• Strong willingness to learn and independence
• Teamorientated and open personality
• Fluent written and spoken German and English (B2/C1)
