You bring experience in Sales or in Sea Logistics, we have an exciting challenge for you in Switzerland

Your Role :Your focus is on putting the customer first. You will be based in Glattbrugg, Zurich, and will be maintaining close personal contact with Swiss customers. Your goal is to acquire new customers, specifically in the commodities trading segment. You have clear goals to achieve and the freedom to decide how to reach them. Your responsibility is to be a reliable partner for our customers and guarantee Kuehne+Nagel's business success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and acquire new customers and introduce them to our extensive product portfolio in Sea Logistics, with a focus on cross trades
  • Work on offers, create customer presentations, and provide necessary documentation using K+N modern tools
  • Work closely and constructively with Customer Service to achieve common goals for customers benefit
  • Accompany the implementation of new business and be the reliable key contact person for our customers, our network
  • Ensure customer loyalty by presenting quality products and services

Your Skills and Experiences:

  • Educational background in International Transport & Logistics, focus on Sea Logistics
  • Relevant professional experience in sales and a proven track record of Business Development in an international environment
  • Solid knowledge of the international trading market and a deep understanding of international logistics processes
  • Creative skills in developing sales strategies and solutions and presenting innovative solutions to customers
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with fluency in German and English (French is an advantage)
  • Readiness to travel within Switzerland
