Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic and professional leadership of the Directorate, especially in its administrative and financial management.
  • Provide logistical support for the administrative units of the Directorate and represent the BKAD in various committees.
  • Support the State Councillor in her role as Director in decision-making and supervision of measures.
  • Prepare the Directorate's business for the State Council and the Cantonal Parliament.
  • Manage financial procedures and internal control processes of the Directorate.
  • Coordinate the activities of the offices.
  • Approve the planning of major projects and participate in their management.
  • Maintain relationships with various partners (other Directorates, associations, conferences, etc.).
  • Coordinate documents and responses to parliamentary tools.
  • Lead projects.

Desired Profile

  • Master's degree (preferably in Economics or Management) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Additional training in Human Resources and Project Management.
  • Several years of proven experience as a manager in personnel management.
  • Editorial and conceptual skills, sensitivity in handling sensitive dossiers.
  • Strong interest in political processes and awareness of the political implications of the topics discussed.
  • Knowledge in the areas of Education and Cultural Affairs.
  • Ability to handle complex issues and operational and financial constraints.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, synthesis ability.
  • High resilience to stress and pressure.
  • Proficiency in German or French with good knowledge of the other language.
