The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Sales Account Executive (m/f/*) – Graphics & Traffic Safety Solutions for Switzerland, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Managing assigned customers in Switzerland, implementing corporate initiatives, and positioning 3M as the preferred graphics and traffic safety partner.
  • Driving growth in the graphics and traffic safety business in Switzerland above market by selling the 3M brand products and technologies.
  • Strengthening customer relationships with converters, B2B end-customers, and municipalities in Switzerland
  • Engaging and collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. Technical Support, Marketing, Distribution Sales Team, EMEA Key Account Team) to identify and win new projects
  • Representing 3M on relevant fairs and events, showcasing products and services, and networking with potential customers and industry professionals.
  • Making use of our CRM system to plan, manage and document your sales activities

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Proven B2B sales experience selling technical products
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively in the region of Switzerland (>3 days/week)
  • Fluent German and French as well as good English language skills are a must
  • Experience of using CRM systems to plan, manage and document sales activities

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
  • Experience or knowledge of graphics and traffic safety market and/or related product solutions is beneficial
  • Experience of working with municipalities is a plus
  • Experience of working in a large and complex corporate environment is desired
  • Highly motivated individual with self-starter mentality

Country Specifics:

This is a field-based position covering the territory of Switzerland. The successful candidate must be based in Switzerland and will work remotely.

Travel: May include up to 80% domestic

Relocation: Not authorized (remote location is supported)

Target Job Grade (Range): S3-S4
