The 12-person team MF-Abroad Claims at Zurich - Swiss Interclaims - handles claims made by insured individuals with foreign parties both in and outside Switzerland. We also represent the National Guarantee Fund and the National Insurance Office, handling claims involving unknown or uninsured motor vehicles, as well as accidents caused by foreign vehicles in Switzerland.

What you will be doing

• Conducting coverage, liability, and claims assessments
• Investigating circumstances of motor vehicle liability claims
• Regularly interacting with insured individuals, claimants, legal representatives, insurance companies, experts, and authorities both locally and internationally
• Responding to customer inquiries as a point of contact for the National Insurance Office and the National Guarantee Fund
• Determining potential recoveries and initiating the collection process

What we are looking for

• Successful completion of a commercial education
• At least 3 years of experience in handling motor vehicle claims
• Strong customer and service orientation
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Very good verbal and written German and English skills
