People Operations Generalist

We're seeking a People Operations Generalist who is ready to work agile in a forward-thinking organization, especially in the blockchain industry that's always pushing boundaries.
Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you'll be joining an amazing team working at the forefront of new ideas that are built within our People & Talent department.
You will take ownership of the day-to-day operational activities and ensure continuous operational excellence.- Are you passionate about HR and want to have a strong impact?

Tasks
- You are responsible for ensuring a flawless administrative entry, exit and life cycle process for internal and external employees
- You own and oversee all activities around Sygnum's Onboarding Day
- You support the monthly payroll activities in coordination with an external payroll provider as well as yearend closing activities
- You proactively look for process improvements and automation to support the People and Talent team while at the same time taking ownership of execution
- You work directly with insurance providers to onboard/offboard employees and provide updates for employee leaves of absence
- You process and answer labor law and general questions from employees at all levels
- You act as point of contract for internal s and external audits
- You manage employee data and track employee information including annual trainings, permit expiration dates, etc
- You are responsible for preparing the interim and final work certificates
- You will support our Recruitment activities
- You will create statistics, reports and dashboards on a regular basis
- You support the People & Talent Team in various Projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the People operations / HR operations
- Fluency in English and in German
- Experience in operating an HRIS software (SuccessFactors, Workday, Abacus, etc)
