Systems Engineer

To be part of our team in Zurich. Join a dynamic team focused on developing mechatronic devices for our innovative blood pump systems. Your role will involve collaborating with teams in Switzerland and the US to ensure our products meet industry standards and push the boundaries of innovation.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and execute system level activities for product development, including usability and system requirements engineering, test plan creation, and execution.
- Define user needs, system specifications, and design to optimize performance and ensure compliance.
- Analyze safety, efficacy, and usability of medical devices from a Systems Engineering perspective.
- Support design activities like drafting, testing, and documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Evaluate device performance through testing and maintain records.
- Collaborate in new product development and product sustaining activities across departments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and participate in audits.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in MedTech industry, preferably with Mechatronic Devices.
- Strong expertise in Requirements Engineering and Validation planning.
- Knowledge of medical standards and regulations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
- Fluent in English, German is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Requirements Management Tools like Doors.
- Knowledge of Agile Working methods and tools such as Jira.
