A Day in the Life of a Laboratory Technician System Performance

Test method development:

  • Define new methodologies and procedures to test and qualify new technologies
  • Defines methods & equipments in order to realise the evaluation of machines according to all Nespresso standards and specifications, also considering the effect of abnormal use, involving internal experts whenever necessary
  • Ensure proper documentation of the newly developed methods
  • Supports the factories and developers' laboratories for trainings on measurement instructions and analyses

Support Product Development & Validation:

  • Support development teams in testing and validating new concepts or recipes
  • Perform necessary testing defined by validation plan and issue corresponding reports
  • Proactive improvement propositions during project phase and product life time
  • Analyse and evaluate competition machines & systems (performance, user convenience, patents,)

Good Laboratory Practices:

  • Build, evaluate and validate the measurement equipments (usually with external partners)
  • Propose improvements of existing measurement equipments
  • Ensure Equipment are correctly calibrated and maintained
  • Maintain tidiness in the lab space and storage areas.

Support Aftersales:

  • Support technical investigations for defective products back from the market

What will make you successful

  • Technical High School (level ES)
  • Strong background and/or experience in Mechanics, Hydraulics and Electronics
  • Experience in using measurement equipment (min. 35 years)
  • Experience in working with a quality documentation system
  • Fluent in French and good level in English
  • Product Testing experience in home appliance or similar industries
  • Compliance management experience related to ISO17025
