We are looking for a Camera Systems Intern (100%) to join our innovative team in Lausanne:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze challenges in indoor industrial inspections using remote sensing and imagery
  • Identify suitable RGB and thermal cameras for customer requirements
  • Explore new hardware and calibration methods for close-up inspections
  • Create testing setups, compare cameras, and develop drone prototypes

Key Ownership Areas:

  • Evaluate components and suppliers
  • Develop and test prototypes
  • Conduct experimental testing and data analysis

Requirements:

  • Solid theoretical and practical electrical engineering skills
  • Basic knowledge of optics and cameras
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python programming
  • Experience in prototyping and sample development
  • Familiarity with engineering tools like MATLAB, Solidworks, Altium, etc
  • Bonus: Experience in image processing with OpenCV or similar libraries
  • Attention to detail, independent thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of French or another language is a plus
