SCOPE OF WORKS:

  • Unboxing of equipment (move from deck platform to staging room then to DC room)
  • Install / rack equipment.
  • Labeling (to stick labels on cables fiber or copper)
  • Labels will be printed by the DCO team in advance.
  • Copper patch cabling.
  • Fibre patch cabling.
  • Removal of packaging after work.


The basics are, punctuality (turning up at the right location at the right time), patching to a neat and good standard,
troubleshooting skills, ability to f
ault find where necessary to resolution, cable testing if required,
rack and stackability, light sourcing the patching installed to make sure the connections are going to where they are meant to be going to.

Attention to detail in understanding cabling matrix(s) that are given to the engineer to work off.
