Our Opening and Your Responsibilities


You want a successful career start after your graduation? You have a good backpack full of theoretical knowledge and want to gain now practical experience? Then take your chance and join the METTLER TOLEDO 18 months Graduate Program (f/m/d).

We are looking for motivated and target oriented individuals willing to start their career within a challenging environment.

Your responsibilities will be impactful and will be structured to give you a good overview of the business, with mentoring by and collaboration with local management.

The program will be tailored to you, depending on your studies and your preferences.

Over a period of 18 months, you will be able to expand your knowledge and your network within different Units.

Start date would be in October 2023.

Unit 1:
Laboratory Weighing (LabTec)


LabTec is one of our Production Organization which gives you the possibility to see areas such as R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain Management or gain experience directly within our Production/Engineering.


Unit 2:
Swiss Market Organization

Our Swiss Market Organization serves the Swiss market with all METTLER TOLEDO products and services. There are interesting departments to choose like Tele-Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Engineering or our Service Department.

Unit 3:
Group & Corporate Functions


To work in a group or corporate function will help to understand how we operate on a global corporate level.

Possible working areas would be Global Supply Chain Management, Corporate IT or our Business Transformation department.

Unit 4:
Weighing & Instrument Components (MTWIC)


The MTWIC Unit is responsible for the industrialization and production of laboratory balances and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, terminals, MFR force sensors and printed circuit boards for the entire MT Group.

You could choose between different departments such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management or Supply Chain Mgmt.

Unit 5:
Analytical (MTANA)

MTANA is one of our Producing Organization which has different R&D teams working on future oriented projects, in Marketing and Product Management we are collaborating closely with our customers and in Market Support Teams we train our Sales
- and Service Force worldwide, in all departments we offer interesting and challenging assignments.

What You Need to Succeed

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

  • A very good degree (Master-Diploma) in Engineering, Natural Science or Business Administration
  • Initial relevant experience and specialist knowledge from internships, working student activities, etc.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a "can do" attitude, and a flair for technology solutions
  • Resilience, commitment and a wish to go the extra mile
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
