  • The Trade and Market Intelligence (TMI) section is part of ITC's Division of Market Development (DMD). TMI has developed and is continuously evolving a set of market analysis tools and customizes these tools for specific regions to facilitate greater intraregional trade and integration. These are made available for business actors (particularly MSMEs) and are free of charge for users from developing countries. The Trade and Market Intelligence section has developed Trade Map and Export Potential Map, as part of a package of webbased market analysis tools. Trade Map provides data on trade flows and market access in a userfriendly and highly flexible way to thousands of users in the developing world. Export Potential Map enables trade advisors from trade support and government institutions to autonomously identify new export opportunities and prioritise sectors and markets. The goal of this job function is to enhance the quality of global public goods resources by consistently enhancing and updating trade data. Additionally, the role involves providing technical assistance in quantitative market analysis.
