Senior C++ Engineer

We are looking for an experienced C++ Development Engineer to join a global engineering and manufacturing leader in technology that does cool stuff that matters. In this role you will focus on software development for our satellite based positioning service software solutions. You will have the opportunity to solve challenging problems related to enabling high capacity, high reliability, scalability, and configurability.

Your technical expertise will support our business initiatives and impact the end-users experience. You will be working in an international environment using the latest cutting-edge technologies that are the backbone of Hexagon's 24/7 HxGN SmartNet correction services.

German is not necessarily required. However, proficiency in English is a must.

Regarding candidates from abroad: clear preference for candidates from Switzerland and the EU region.

The application process consists of three stages:

1. Teams interview with the Hiring Manager and myself.
2. Technical interview with the Hiring Manager and other technical experts.
3. On-site interview.

Heerbrugg, Switzerland (relocation needed, On-site Hybrid Model with 2-3 days On-site and 2-3 days remote work)

• Distributed high-availability systems, used both by internal and external customers around the world
• Designing and implementing solutions for a high-end software with a wide range of technologies
• Contributing to the overall application architecture and technology stack
• Contributing to technical concepts and decisions for the software
• Working in an agile environment with a stable product release cycle
• Close collaboration with product management working on the leading GNSS corrections provider SmartNet enabled by Leica Spider Software
