As part of our Employee Banking and Trade Basic Desk in Zürich, we seek a KYC Specialist to join the Employee Periodic KYC Reviews Team and handle the periodic client review process.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Independently conduct periodic KYC reviews for various account types in line with the bank's policies and regulations. This involves verifying existing KYC information, checking supporting documents, and evaluating potential risks.
  • Review and validate client documents to ensure they meet internal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with different departments, such as compliance and FRM, to resolve account issues.
  • Carry out further investigations with relevant departments when needed and start escalation procedures for elevated risks such as money laundering concerns.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Have experience in KYC/AML Compliance, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated ability in dealing with complex structures like trusts and corporations.
  • Proficiency in transactional monitoring to detect unusual activities.
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English and German; additional languages are a bonus.
  • Excellent professional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a high level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to work independently, be proactive, meticulous, detail-oriented, and handle deadline pressure effectively.
