Tailor - Womenswear (100%)

We are seeking an experienced Tailor to join our in-studio Production & Design team.

As a successful Tailor at INA KESS, you should be an excellent communicator, knowledgeable about how to handle delicate, high-stretch jersey fabrics, and be able to perform high-quality alterations within an established timeframe.

The Tailor role will be instrumental in creating our Swiss craftsmanship legacy through our products.

THE ROLE

• Perform alterations and modifications to garments in accordance with design specifications and customer requests
• Actively participate in product construction and sewing patterns
• Sew and assemble various types of functional fabrics, with a main focus on blazers, suits, shirts, and dresses using both needle and thread or an industrial sewing machine
• Meet production deadlines and quality standards set by the company
• Collaborate with designers, with the main focus to support the Pattern Design Lead
• Maintain and operate equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform routine maintenance as needed
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Support in productionrelated tasks

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience working as a Seamstress, Tailor, or Alterations Specialist in a luxury highend retailers & couture environment
• Excellent in sewing and tailoring a variety of
  highstretch jersey fabrics, with expertise in
  blazers, suits, shirts, and dresses is a must
• Experience with industrial sewing machines and other tools commonly used in production
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

English proficiency both spoken and written is required. Any other language is a plus
