Senior Commissioning Engineer

- Your goal at Climeworks is to lead DCS & Controls Commissioning & Start-Up activities smoothly, from Engineering to Operations. Developing and implementing procedures for Climeworks' DCS and PLC control systems, guided by OKRs, to effectively operate Mammoth and upcoming Plants. Ensuring plant availability and CO2 / CDR production, meeting sales targets, and realizing the Climeworks Vision.
- Maintaining a safe and compliant CSU program, fostering a strong safety culture without compromises.
- Planning and executing Mammoth and future plants DCS CSU activities comprehensively, setting DCS CSU standards within the CSU Team.
- Designing, implementing, executing, commissioning, and maintaining the Mammoth Plant DCS during the CSU period.
- Ensuring the necessary processes and tools are in place to manage a critical process DCS.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related discipline is required.
- Expert knowledge of Siemens T3000 DCS is essential.
- At least 6 years of experience in plant commissioning & Start-Up in the process engineering industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior role.
- Proven work experience in a scale-up and/or pioneering environment.
- A solid track record in DCS CSU in the process engineering industry.
- Experience in DCS & controls engineering design, including SIF and SIL functions, and in FAT and SAT procedure development.
- A strong coordinator, communicator, and collaborator with excellent problem-solving skills.
- A continuous, persistent, and sustainable improver.
- Business fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, with a full-time presence on-site during the CSU period (3 to 6 months per project).
