About the team you are joiningIATA's Sustainability Programs department works with airlines, regulators, and civil society to develop and implement policies, standards, and programs that support the sustainable development of air transport and mitigate its impact on the environment. You will report to the Manager Sustainability Programs and you will be supporting the successful implementation of the SAF Accounting & Reporting Integrity System and Net Zero Tracking mechanism. Both systems will be integral for the sector to enable the reporting and claiming of SAF environmental attributes as well as to substantiate the industry progress made towards the Net Zero objective. During the implementation of the two systems, you will support the testing of the different functionalities, and validate that system deliverables have been implemented as planned from an end-user perspective. You will work closely with the SAF and Net Zero tracking subject matter experts and consultants during the execution phase, respond to ad-hoc requests, ensure deadlines are met, and be involved in all project-related tasks that require the support of the intern. You will participate in regular project meetings, take minutes, and capture the deliverables and timelines decided as part of these meetings.
What your day would be like- Test and validate system requirements and functionalities implemented in pre-production from an end-user perspective.
- Capture irregularities and errors and communicate these effectively with the project team and system vendor.

- Collaborate with a broader group of internal stakeholders towards an effective launch of the SAF IS platform to serve the SAF value chain.
- Support the preparation of user guides and manuals for the platform.
- Assist with the development of communication materials concerning the different sustainability programs under the EcoHub, including social media, presentations, videos, briefing notes, and webpages.
- Recent (less than 12 months) graduate in a relevant discipline
- Exposure to aviation and sustainability would be an asset.
- Strong IT skills;
- Excellent planning skills and ability for multi-tasking;
- Detail-orientation, with strong time management and communications skills;
- Sensitivity and appreciation to cultural differences in a diverse environment are must
