Wiesen und Weiden sind ein wichtiges Habitat für viele Pflanzen
- und Tierarten. Die Bewirtschaftung hat entscheidenden Einfluss auf die floristische und faunistische Diversität. Das Projekt G4B «Grasslands for biodiversity: supporting the protection of biodiversity-rich grasslands and related management practices in the Alps and Carpathians» entwickelt zusammen mit Europäischen Forschungsinstitutionen Grundlagen zur Erhaltung biodiverser Grasslandhabitate in den Alpen und den Karpaten. Die ausgeschriebene Dissertationsstelle hat zum Ziel die Ursachen für die Veränderung der Vielfalt von Fauna und Flora auf den landwirtschaftlich genutzten Flächen der Alpen und Karpaten zu identifizieren und die darunterliegenden Prozesse zu verstehen. Basierend darauf sollen besonders biodiversitätsfördernde Bewirtschaftungsmassnahmen abgeleitet werden.

**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- selbständiges Durchführen und Organisieren von Feldarbeit
- Vegetationserhebungen in den Alpen und Erfassen von ausgewählten Insektengruppen
- Statistische Analysen und Visualisierung in R
- Verfassen von peer-reviewed Publikationen und Präsentation an wissenschaftlichen Konferenzen
- Teilnahme am PhD Programm in Ecology

**Ihr Profil**:

- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Agronomie, Biologie, Umwelt
- oder Naturwissenschaften
- Praktische Erfahrung in der Feldbotanik und/oder Faunistik sowie Freude an der Feldarbeit, der Datenanalyse und am Schreiben eigener Texte
- Kenntnisse in der Analyse taxonomischer und räumlicher Daten mit der Software R
- Kommunikativ mit Freude an der Interaktion mit Landwirten/innen und Behörden; Kooperativer Teamplayer
- Kenntnisse zweier Amtssprachen und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; Führerausweis Kat. B

**Über uns**:
Agroscope ist das Kompetenzzentrum des Bundes für die Forschung in der Land
- und Ernährungswirtschaft. Die Forschenden üben ihre Tätigkeiten an verschiedenen Standorten in der Schweiz aus. Hauptsitz ist Bern-Liebefeld (ab 2025: Posieux FR). Angesiedelt ist Agroscope beim Eidg. Departement für Wirtschaft, Bildung und Forschung WBF.

Die Arbeit ist in zwei Forschungsgruppen angesiedelt: der Forschungsgruppe «Futterbau und Graslandsysteme» und der Forschungsgruppe «Agrarlandschaft und Biodiversität». Beide Gruppen arbeiten am Standort Reckenholz in Zürich.
