MSC Cruises is seeking a dynamic and proactive intern to support our Head of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) in various initiatives, including the pursuit of D&I ISO certification and other related projects.

The intern will work closely with the D&I team to develop, implement, and assess strategies that foster an inclusive environment for both ashore and onboard populations.


  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion issues, with a desire to make a positive impact in the workplace.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Autonomous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.


We are looking for an intern with a mandatory school agreement available to start in June\/July 202- Assist the Head of D&I in researching, planning, and executing initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion within the company.


  • Support the development of policies, procedures, and training materials related to D&I best practices.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather data, conduct analysis, and generate reports on D&I metrics and performance indicators.
  • Assist in the coordination of D&I events, workshops, and training sessions for employees both ashore and onboard our cruise ships.
  • Contribute to the preparation of documentation and materials for the D&I ISO certification process.
  • Act as a liaison between the D&I team and other departments within the organization to ensure alignment and collaboration on D&I initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, research, and best practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Undertake adhoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Head of D&I.

EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.

In 2014, MSC Cruises launched a euro 9 billion, 10 year investment plan to support the second phase of its growth through the order of up to 11 next generation mega cruise ships.

As a result, MSC Cruises' fleet will double by 2026, while the passenger capacity will triple to reach five million passengers per year.

MSC Cruises is the first cruise company to develop an investment plan of this length and magnitude.

MSC Cruises feels a deep responsibility for the environments in which it operates, and was the first company ever to earn the Bureau Veritas "7 Golden Pearls" for superior management and environmental stewardship.

In 2009, MSC Cruises began an enduring partnership with UNICEF to support various programmes assisting children worldwide.
