About the job:

  • Are you eager to use cuttingedge technology to transform the financial sector? We are too Join our Tech Advisory team as a Solution Architect. You will be part of Synpulse8, the technical brainchild of Synpulse, an established and globally active management consulting company for the financial services industry.
  • Helping to enable the digital transformation of business core operations by transferring core processes to software solutions and streamlining them. Your role as Solution Architect is key for this highly complex process transition.
You are in charge of developing a comprehensive architecture for a solution and providing directions throughout the development and building phase, including specific responsibilities, such as:

  • Determine and record the process of integrating and/or building IT solutions to meet the organisation's business requirements
  • Define and document the solution architecture endtoend, including the necessary infrastructure, data model, integration, and technology stack
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with Product Owners, Software Architects, and Enterprise Architects from different teams and regions
  • Explain to stakeholders the rationale of the decision taken in relation to the architecture
  • Analyse and explain to stakeholders the business impact of the technical options
  • Continuously research new technologies
  • Propose improvements to the existing architecture

About you:

  • Outstanding Master's degree from a renowned university or university of applied sciences
  • 5 or more years of professional experience designing solutions in the IT architecture field
  • Knowledgeable about good practices (i.e., eventbased architecture, RESTful APIs, Webhook, WAFs, oAuth2, OpenID, proxy, encryptions, etc.)
  • Understanding of IT security, IT infrastructure, and governance
  • Understanding of the ITIL 4 framework or basics of TOGAF Foundations
  • Project and resource management knowledge
  • Knowledgeable about good documentation practice (i.e., UML, infrastructure diagram, BPMN, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience in leadership
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • High capacity for teamwork and social skills, and good at explaining complex problems to nonspecialists
  • Fluent language skills (minimum B2 level) in German and English
