Your mission

You will be involved in our day-to-day accounting operations with a particular focus on payroll, handling creditors and support monthly closings in the DACH region.

Please be advised this is a fixed term contract.

Your key responsibilities

• Coordination of payroll process with external payroll service provider and related accounting entries for DACH
• Review A/P entries done by our team in India & prepare payment runs for DACH
• Support in preparing periodic VAT declaration reports
• Support monthly closing process & financial reporting
• Periodical reconciliation of accounts and support monthend closing

Your experience & skills
To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

• Experience in accounting and legal entity statutory financial closing processes
• Previous experience in DACH payroll accounting and Accounts Payable accounting is beneficial
• Proven track record working in a dynamic and demanding environment, ideally with international groups
• Strong analytical skills and ability to create / improve financial processes
• Proficient in both spoken and written business German and English
• Ability to work independently
• Enthusiastic, selfstarter with a "can do" attitude

In addition, the following would be a plus:

• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft D365 is beneficial
• Previous Swiss OR GAAP exposure is beneficial
• Strong IT skills, experience of process digitalisation within finance is a merit
