About the job:


The Staff Program Manager will play a key role in establishing and integrating the vision and needs of the R&D staff and in driving the resulting programs to realization.


You will assist the CTO in day-to-day activities and help create, manage, and maintain operational excellence in the research and development organization.


Responsibilities

  • Codevelop the vision and manage the creation, execution, and maintenance of the ONWARD development system.
  • Plan and manage staff level events and department meetings and discussions.
  • Run R&D staff meetings; participate in action and manage follow up.
  • Create and manage programs in support of R&D operations.
  • Develop and track key departmental metrics.
  • Participate in and lead cross department initiatives in support of company goals.
  • Maintain and manage the R&D budget.
  • Maintain the technology ID matrix and participate in technology roadmapping.
- o Assists the CTO with agenda management, meeting preparation, and follow-up to optimize CTO productivity

About you:

  • MSc in Engineering Management, with an understating of relevant technologies, program management concepts, engineering management and engineering tools.
  • 10+ years relevant industrial and R&D experience, with 5+ years in the management of projects, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with R&D leadership in the realization of process and programs.
  • Working knowledge of program management and ERP software; Jira, Confluence and MS Dynamics preferred.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • A team player who can collaborate well with other engineering leadership and manage relationships across departments.
  • Results oriented, handson and thrives well in an innovative, fastpaced and performance driven organization.

Supervision

  • This is an individual contributor position with strategic responsibility and impact. The Staff Program Manager will report to the Chief Technology Officer and liaise with other senior stakeholders.
