Wine and Spirits Specialist at the Kulm Group

  • Creation and maintenance of customized wine and spirits lists for menus and food offerings
  • Organization and supervision of the wine cellar
  • Expert handling of wine storage to ensure optimal conditions
  • Supplying wines for various venues and events
  • Providing expert advice to guests on suitable wine pairings, especially for events and banquets
  • Collaborating with the F&B/Purchasing team in wine procurement
  • Strict adherence to hygiene regulations and standards
  • Continuous learning in the field of wines and spirits
  • Assisting with wine cellar inventory
  • Working in compliance with hygiene standards

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Completed training in restaurant or hotel management, sommelier certification, or equivalent
  • Experience in high-end gastronomy
  • Deep knowledge of wines and spirits
  • Previous experience in curating wine lists and managing wine cellars
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to various situations
  • Desire for continuous learning and self-improvement
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in German, English, and Italian languages
