Your Responsibility

In our Platform Management Chapter we are seeking a communicative SAP BASIS specialist to join our SAP team and work independently in a motivated and highly competent development team, offering a diverse range of tasks in a dynamic, agile, and innovative environment.

Your Role

  • Performing release, change, and incident management for SAP applications and SAP Basis, including SAP Netweaver, SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP PO, and SAP Solution Manager
  • Administration and monitoring of databases for SAP on Oracle and SAP on SAP HANA
  • Agile development and implementation of solution concepts, including integration into various subsystems
  • Maintenance and further development of legacy systems based on the SAP NetWeaver stack
  • Processing of requests, creation, and review of technical and functional documents
  • Installation and patching of all SAP components
  • Ensuring system security through a deep understanding of encryption, SSO, and conducting regular security assessments
  • Regular maintenance and upkeep work to ensure system integrity
  • Providing on-call support outside of regular working hours when necessary
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and ensuring system availability

Your Expertise

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
  • Extensive experience with SAP systems and technologies, especially SAP Basis, SAP NetWeaver, SAP ERP, and SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience in database administration, preferably with SAP on Oracle and SAP on SAP HANA
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
  • Certifications in agile methods like Scrum or SAFe are advantageous
  • SAP certifications, especially for SAP HANA and SAP Solution Manager, are highly desired
  • Experience in working with agile methods and teams
  • Strong understanding of IT security standards and best practices
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
