Your Role at Cabot

Performs accounting and analysis activities related to feedstock and energy transactions, providing technical leadership and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Acts as interface between Feedstock Department and Global Business Services.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Performs specialized work requiring in-depth knowledge of accounting theory and principles. Recommends processes to enhance efficiency of close processes.
  • Prepares financial statements, reconciliations, and analysis. Highlights cost reduction opportunities.
  • Develops reports for ledgers, journal entries, and financial analysis. Provides timely reports to management.
  • Participates in implementing accounting systems and methods. Works on special projects and assists with training programs.

What You Will Bring to Cabot

  • 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Fluent in English and German. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting laws.
  • Computer literate with MS Office, Lotus Notes, and Finance ERP system with Oracle application.
  • Commercial or University degree in Accounting or Finance.
