Position SummaryAs a "Senior Clinical Research Scientist", you will collaborate with internal research and scientific teams to discover fresh pediatric and maternal nutrition science concepts and translate these ideas into new product or communication opportunities.We provide a vibrant, inclusive, and global work setting with numerous chances across various businesses, functions, and regions.   • Actively contribute to ensuring the relevance of early-stage research and enhancing its utilization.
  • Establish working groups with pertinent internal expertise and competencies.
  • Create a long-term clinical strategic plan for at least two brand categories.
  • Design the scientific content of study protocols of moderate-to-high complexity and other key study documents in cooperation with a statistician.
  • Craft scientific presentation materials and offer protocol, medical, and safety training at study investigator meetings and site initiation visits.
  • Conduct clinical data review, interpretation and top-line data rollout to R&D and broader multidisciplinary teams.
  • Devise a publication strategic plan for the relevant brand categories.
  • Ensure optimal practices in executing and delivering clinical trials promptly, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes.
What will make you successful
  • PhD or Master's degree with 4-6 years of postdoctoral and/or academic/industry job-relevant experience in study design, protocol development, research methodology, clinical data interpretation, and publication is necessary.
  • Specialty training or extensive experience in human nutrition science and clinical development within pediatrics, gastroenterology (GI function), gut microbiota, and immune health outcomes is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide detailed scientific input in crafting clinical research portfolio strategy.
  • Aptitude to interpret and synthesize clinical data/statistical results in study reports, authoring scientific abstracts and manuscripts, and presenting study findings to internal R&D and business teams, and external scientific communities.
  • Proven capability to function in a matrix organization and successful track record representing clinical research on cross-functional category and project teams.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing clinical studies that lead to compelling claims/messaging.
  • Experience in planning, conducting, and overseeing global clinical trials.
  • Skills in project prioritization, aligning with business objectives, and task distribution.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in projects and/or complex studies.
