INTRODUCTION:

Our client an international organisation based in Geneva is looking for a

Project Manager available immediately for a temporary contract.

**DESCRIPTION DE LA MISSION: **Accountabilities & Functional responsibilities

The responsibilities are the following:

  • Maintains an overview of the project's progress and expected benefits, and a detailed view of the status of individual deliverables;
  • Organizes, prepares, conducts, coordinates, facilitates and reports on all project management activities through organizing Steering Committee sessions and centralizing essential documents necessary to achieve the projects' objectives, in accordance with the needs identified by the concerned academic institutions and the project team;
  • Ensures that project controls are performed and recorded, conveying any changes in scope, time or budget to the Steering Committee for validation;
  • Works with other divisions/units to mobilize relevant support and expertise to deliver the project, ensuring the backing of and coordination with key stakeholders in the field and at headquarters during implementation through an established regular and systematic checkin with project focal points and labs/scientists;
  • Reviews/approves the work plans of the projects' teams;
  • Develops and implements a strategy to accompany the changes brought on by the project, for instance through communication with EPFL/ETH counterparts to ensure that information and knowledge about the project are disseminated internally and with external audiences (ie. Swiss press and other stakeholders), as well as creating a strategy where the project can start to take root in the Field;
**PROFIL ATTENDU: **Background, education and experience required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Project management training a must
  • Prosci practitioner certification an asset
  • Fluent command of English and French (English essential)
  • Computer proficiency
Professional Experience required

  • 812 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in successful project management
  • Financial management experience (budgeting and resource allocation)
