YOUR PROFILE


Do you want to bring your financial expertise to a dynamic international educational institution? Look no further than Collège Alpin Beau Soleil as we are looking for a General Accountant, who will manage with accuracy our general ledger to ensure the utmost precision in our financial records.

As a senior member of the Finance team, you will provide your colleagues with support and your expertise.

You'll work closely with the Director of Finance in the overall management of administrative, analysis, organizational and implementation duties, as well as investment projects.

Modern accounting tools will be at your disposal, enabling you to work with efficiency and effectiveness.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for daytoday General Ledger accounting
  • Ensure full compliance with Statutory and IFRS Standards
  • Plan and manage the monthly closing process with the DoF overview
  • Own and execute several processes such as accruals, lease/rental accounting, fixed assets, intercompany recharges, deferred income as well as income tax provisions
  • Issue timely and complete periodic reporting and KPI's to DoF and Group
  • Manage all aspects of quarterly VAT returns (CH)
  • Support the audit process with the internal/external auditors
  • Provide support to DoF with budgets' monitoring
  • Provide support to AP/AR finance team

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Brevet in Finance or equivalent
  • Fluent in both French & English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • Prior experience with an ERP system, Navision BC is highly desirable
  • Understanding of reporting and consolidation software (OneStream)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Experience of a school environment is a plus but not essential
