To enhance our digital offering we are looking to expand our team of Senior Business Platform Owners (Agile/Scrum Product Owners).

Good understanding of client onboarding and investment suitability processes combined with Agile software delivery experience, a lot of drive and a track record of successfully implementing projects would be ideal.

The key output of this role would be the implementation of Client Onboarding & Lifecycle products (client data, contact details, KYC due diligence, AML transaction review, etc.) across Credit Suisse client platforms outside Switzerland

In this role you will be responsible for working with key regional and global business stakeholders and Credit Suisse agile developers.

You are expected to bridge both sides of the table and ensure that your proposed solutions fit within the overall platform context and meets/exceeds the requirements set by the various stakeholders.

Your input is critical from the start of a project, i.e., from initial client value proposition, target operating model design and client experience setting to vision development, process construction, and final implementation and roll-out.

You should bring strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the IT development team in the delivery of business requirements, automation strategy and platform vision around our client onboarding and lifecycle management and help find the right technical solution by focusing on user experience, process, and data quality
  • Successfully own and prioritize the book of work for 12 agile IT development teams, initially focusing on defining and delivering the minimum viable product and then developing it further to capture the full business value in an agile manner
  • Drive transition from the legacy platform to the strategic platform while owning both the enhancements and the smooth operation of the existing platform
  • Gather and analyze endtoend requirements from front office as well as the supporting functions in mid
- and back-office and compliance as part of the projects scope and implementation

  • Manage agile project progress against quality standards, targets, budgets, challenging actions, results, and manage stakeholders to align on project scope, expected and realized benefits, timelines, technical limitations, and business impact
  • Actively report on delivery (RAG and RAID reporting), including identifying risks, dependencies and issues and drive respective mitigations as well as being accountable for resolving production issues on the owned platform and following guidelines for accurate and timely project delivery milestones
  • Support the team lead and team with a variety of overarching topics (e.g., setting up overarching steering committees, etc.)

Your future colleagues:

You will be part of a highly collaborative and motivated, well diversified team with main locations in Switzerland. You will be working with counterparts in Switzerland, Europe (especially UK, Guernsey), India and Singapore. The immediate team size in Switzerland is 4-7 persons. The team is embedded in a larger Platform Team that owns the banks IT platform.

Your skills and experience

Scrum team leadership, organization, and delivery:

  • Be able to clearly define and prioritize product roadmap and team backlog to ensure that the solution effectively addresses program priorities while maintaining the highest level of technical integrity
  • Experience in negotiating to prioritize items in the product backlog that mitigates technical/financial/operational risk, accelerates team learning, best achieves expected outcomes, and optimizes the value of the work performed
  • Be able to author and analyze requirements, epics, user stories, tasks and timelines aligned with user/customer/market need to ensure stories meet the "definition of ready" criteria
  • Success track record in leading sprint team ceremonies, including daily stand ups, planning sessions with squads and work with the team to decompose stories into development tasks

Strong stakeholder management:

  • Be able to identify stakeholder needs, negotiate priorities between competing stakeholder interests and keep customers and/or users apprised of status and gather their feedback through testing and validating hypotheses regarding their needs
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, establishing, and maintaining strategic relationships with key internal and external decisionmakers and stakeholders as well as negotiating key product strategy decision points and milestones
  • Show dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 years' experience of client relationship management (static data /onboarding/KYC /AML) and 10+ years' experience in private banking or wealth management industry

  • Strong project and/or (IT) product management skill
