Our client is a national and internationally active SME specializing in consultancy and support in the fiduciary sector. On behalf of this client, we are looking for a motivated individual in the Basel region to join as a detail-oriented Accountant / Customer Accountant (m/f).

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate financial, securities, and monthly payroll accounting for Swiss and international businesses
• Prepare and review VAT settlements and tax returns
• Conduct regular quality checks for clients
• Support colleagues with accounting or tax-related queries

Your profile:

• Commercial or equivalent education
• At least 3 years of experience in finance/accounting (experience in fiduciary sector is advantageous)
• Sound knowledge of financial, securities, and payroll accounting
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent German language skills
• Detail-oriented and motivated individual
