Two-year contract, renewable two years once only

Your responsibilities:

Teaching load of 4 hours per week (BA or MA level seminars).
Supervision of students, support for exams.
Participation in the research activities and administration of the Section.

Research:

Post-doctoral project (second book or habilitation), preferably in applied linguistics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, conversation analysis, discourse analysis, multilingualism research, or cognitive linguistics (or related fields).

Your qualifications:

PhD in German linguistics or equivalent qualification (thesis submitted at the time of taking up the post).

Experience in teaching German linguistics at university level; in addition to a focus in these areas, experience in teaching German as a foreign language will be considered an asset.

A good command of French is an asset, as experience in conducting and acquiring third-party funded research projects.
