Staff Backend Engineer

Your tasks

  • Act as the Tech Lead for our Backend team, providing guidance to engineers at all levels
  • Lead key tech projects, enhancing data pipelines and service efficiency
  • Contribute to our software architecture, making vital tech decisions in the architecture board
  • Develop and maintain services using various technologies including Redis and DynamoDB
  • Work in an agile team to deliver high-performing backend services

Your profile

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 6+ years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of tech tools like Redis, DynamoDB, SQL Databases, and frameworks like NestJS
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, Docker, AWS CLI, and console
  • Experience with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and caching strategies
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a bonus
