In 2021, Skyguide safely and efficiently guided around 0.7 million (in previous years around 1.3 million) civil and military aircraft through the busiest airspace in Europe.

DESCRIPTION:
Do you want to be an actor of this journey and add real value to our internal and external stakeholders?
As a part of the Safety Services team, you will conduct safety activities relating to change management within Skyguide.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct safety activities according to the safety risk assessment processes for changes within the Air Traffic Management System
- Facilitate hazard identification and analysis workshops and develop the safety documentation required by the Skyguide safety assessment framework
- Support the team by assisting the Safety Reporting & Investigation unit and the safety performance monitoring unit
- Establish a practical relationship with internal and external key stakeholders (operations, technical, military and regional groups, and the Federal Office of Civil Aviation) to provide advice and guidance on safety topics
- Support the team in the production of training material and provision of training (internal and external)
- Promote and improve the safety culture in accordance with the departmental vision and corporate values
YOUR PROFILE:
- Qualified Engineering background ideally in the Air Traffic Management Industry
- Proved work experience or comparable training in a safety management environment
- Capable to evaluate professionally
- Strong analytical and excellent communication skills
- Pragmatic approach and ability to work autonomously
- Team player, who is adaptable in different situations with high sense of responsibility
- Fluent in English, good command in German and/or French is a plus
