We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst (100%) to join our MX team (specializing in Smartphones, Tablets, and Wearables) in Switzerland on a permanent basis. This role primarily revolves around managing the division's settlements with precision and ensuring compliance, while also providing valuable back-office support to streamline operational processes within the team.
Role and Responsibilities
Your tasks, you...- Set and monitor monthly turnover targets and create reliable forecasts
- Lead the management planning process for the upcoming year
- Supervise short-term and long-term sell-in and sell-out forecasts for target-setting purposes
- Collaborate with Product Management & Supply Chain teams
- Prepare for monthly sales deduction meetings and update plans within the system
- Support the division's promotion budget (Sales Deduction) by tracking and submitting budget requests
- Analyze profitability through promotion cost simulations and update promotion SO lift impact
- Create and maintain business reports showcasing promotion progress, results, and expected market inventory levels
- Act as the primary point of contact for turnover and promotion activities
- Review operational processes, conduct benchmarking, and identify areas for improvement
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses as requested by stakeholders (HQ, finance, subsidiary management, division heads, key account managers)
Skills and Qualifications
Your profile, you...- Hold a degree in business administration with a focus on management or financial accounting
- Possess several years of relevant work experience in a similar role and environment
- Demonstrate proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and the ability to derive actionable insights from data
- Have strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Prior experience working with SAP HANA Finance (FICO) or a similar ERP system
- Ideally, have familiarity with BI systems such as Power BI and SAP Analytics
- Be fluent in both German and English
- Exhibit a hands-on mentality, excel in analytical thinking and figure preparation
- Present a professional demeanor, possess excellent communication skills, and work with precision
