We are looking for an Intern in Underwriting Financial Lines, based in Wallisellen, Switzerland.

The Impact You Will Have

  • The Swiss Financial Lines underwriting team is looking for a student to support the underwriters in various administrative activities. This is a parttime internship position at 80% limited for 6 months.
  • Some of your specific responsibilities could include
  • Prepare policy documents and invoices in English and German, and obtain dual signatures
  • Register new business submissions and policy renewals in a database
  • Prepare policy renewals by collecting reports from databases
  • Draft proposals for the premium allocation of international insurance programs in coordination with the responsible underwriter, brokers and other Allianz entities worldwide
  • Check premium bookings and payments received in coordination with the accounting and operations team
  • Compile information to create claim overviews requested by brokers

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • A current enrollment in (or planning to attend in the immediate future) a business or law university with the aim of achieving a bachelor or master's degree
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (mainly Word; advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Access skills are helpful)
  • Team player skills
  • A Selforganized, structured and efficient way of working
  • Ideally working experience in an international company before
  • Fluent German and English skills
