About the Role

As an intern in Sustainability Risk Management, you:

• Conduct sustainability due diligence assessments of transactions and issue business recommendations.

• Collaborate with colleagues in IT to ensure that the ESG Risk Assessment tool has up-to-date data from our external and internal service providers.

About the Team

The Sustainability Risk Management team integrates environmental, social and governance risk issues into Swiss Re's business. We do this by scanning the horizon for future risks and developments, assessing their impact on Swiss Re, and enabling forward-looking decision-making. We also coordinate and oversee the company wide ESG Risk Framework and selectively represent our sustainability risk efforts externally.

About You

Do you have the following qualifications and experience?:

• A Master's level education in an area of sustainability (e.g. natural sciences, environmental economics, social sciences etc.)

• Experience in a diverse and global environment

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

These attributes are not a must, but are advantageous:

• Relevant previous internship or volunteering experience (e.g. on corporate responsibility, in an NGO, public sector etc.)

• Proficiency in further languages

• Project management experience

Lastly, would others refer to you as someone who:

• Is a teamplayer

• Comes up with pragmatic solutions

• Communicates clearly

• Has a 'can-do' attitude

• Is curious about the world
