Quantum Research Scientist, Research

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience with research publications in the field of Quantum Computing.
  • Experience with HPC.

Preferred qualifications:

  • PhD in Computational Quantum Physics, Quantum Computing, or a related field.
  • Experience running multiGPU or multiTPU simulations of quantum manybody systems and/or quantum computations, including both code development and execution of simulations.
  • Experience developing and implementing HPC simulations using tensor network algorithms (MPS, DMRG, MERA, PEPS, etc.).
  • Experience with postgraduate research and independent research in Computational Quantum Physics.
  • Knowledge of Python.

Responsibilities:

  • Code and execute tensornetwork based simulation algorithm for quantum manybody physics and quantum circuits.
  • Invent or adapt novel simulation algorithms for quantum manybody physics and quantum circuits.
  • Develop and implement Highperformance Computing (HPC) simulations in specialized hardware including multiGPUs and multiTPUs.
  • Collaborate in simulations of superconducting qubit systems.
  • Perform quantum algorithms related research in collaboration with other team members.
