Key responsibilities:
- Planning and carrying out chemical experiments in collaboration with chemists and engineers in the area of process development and scaleup.
- Collection and processing of process data on laboratory scale liters)
- Supporting process transfers and scaleups to our multipurpose facilities
- Analysis and characterization of chemical products
- Independent and problemsolving work within the framework of projects
- Maintenance and further development of the laboratory equipment park as well as the supervision of laboratory automation equipment
- Supervision and training of new team members (laboratory technician apprentices)
Key requirements:
- High ambition to strengthen the safety culture
- University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc. Organic Chemistry) or laboratory assistant training EFZ/CTA or comparable training with interest in process engineering
- Work experience in a laboratory, pilot plant or production plant is an advantage
- Experience with highly automated laboratory equipment, highpressure apparatus, pumps and metal fittings is a plus
- Broad experience in the field of laboratory synthesis as well as in the handling of production processes is required
- Proactive working style and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
- Very good knowledge of German or English is required
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an affinity for computeraided laboratory equipment
- Openmindedness, flexibility, curiosity for science, and eagerness to constant learning and development completes your profile
