Your mission at Climeworks is to upscale our production from laboratory to pilot scale. You will do this by optimizing the processes of our synthesis of materials used for CO2 capture.

  • You set up collaborations with academic and industrial partners for the upscale of synthetic pathways.
  • You will operate and be in charge of the maintenance of the laboratory infrastructure.
  • You implement a safetyfirst culture and ensure that Climeworks and all workrelated standards are being met.
  • You will be responsible for your own goals and for the reporting of your work.
  • You have completed a degree in chemistry or material science, with a focus on industrial chemistry.
  • You have already gained experience in a research laboratory and ideally worked in an industrial environment before.
  • You have a fundamental and applied knowledge of polymer synthesis & modification.
  • Your previous knowledge of carbon capture is an advantage.
  • You are open to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • You are fluent in English. German is a plus.
